Structure de l'épreuve
- Section A : Reading comprehension (10 points)
- Section B : Language use / grammar / vocabulary (4-6 points)
- Section C : Composition / essay (4-6 points)
Time management (2 hours)
- Reading and questions : 50 minutes
- Language use exercises : 30 minutes
- Essay : 35 minutes (5 min planning + 25 writing + 5 proofreading)
- Total : ≈ 1h55, leaving 5 minutes buffer
Common mistakes to avoid
- Spelling French words instead of English (independance → independence)
- Confusing 'their / there / they're'
- Direct translations from French (avoir 18 ans = be 18, not have 18)
- Forgetting plural -s on nouns and 3rd person -s on verbs
💡 Astuce : Read your essay TWICE before submitting. The first reading catches grammar mistakes; the second checks coherence.
