1. Tenses
- Present simple vs continuous (habits vs actions in progress)
- Past simple vs present perfect (finished vs unfinished)
- Past perfect (action before another past action)
- Future : will / going to / present continuous for plans
2. Reported speech
- Direct → indirect with backshift of tenses
- Pronouns and time expressions changes
- Reporting questions, commands, requests
3. Conditional sentences
- Type 0 : general truths (If you heat water, it boils)
- Type 1 : possible future (If it rains, I will stay)
- Type 2 : hypothetical present (If I were rich, I would travel)
- Type 3 : impossible past (If I had studied, I would have passed)
4. Passive voice
- Active : Subject + Verb + Object
- Passive : Object + be + Past Participle + by Subject
- Tenses passive forms : is done, was done, has been done, will be done
5. Modals
- Ability : can, could, be able to
- Obligation : must, have to, should
- Possibility : may, might, could
- Permission : may, can, could
