Qui peut déposer une demande PEQ en 2026 ?

Le PEQ comprend deux volets : le volet Travailleur Expérimenté (TET) pour ceux ayant 24 mois d'expérience TEER 0-3 au Québec avant le 19 novembre 2025, et le volet Diplômé pour les titulaires d'un diplôme québécois (DEP, DEC, BAC, etc.) obtenu il y a moins de 3 ans.

Quel test de français est accepté pour le PEQ ?

Les tests acceptés par le MIFI sont : TEFAQ, TCF Québec, TEF, TCF, TCF Canada, TEF Canada, DELF et DALF. NCLC 7 à l'oral est requis pour le TET. Pour le Diplômé, si le programme était enseigné en français, aucun test n'est requis.

Is your job classified TEER 0, 1, 2 or 3?

Under the National Occupational Classification (NOC) 2021, the 2nd digit of the NOC code indicates the TEER level.

Grocery clerk (65100 → TEER 5) ❌

Question 3 / 5 — Skilled Worker Stream

Do you have 24 months of TEER 0-3 experience in Quebec, completed before November 19, 2025?

You can combine multiple TEER 0-3 jobs. Part-time (30h+/week) is counted pro rata.

Question 4 / 5 — Skilled Worker Stream

Do you have proof of French ≥ NCLC 7 in oral expression?

Recognized test (TEFAQ · TCF · TEF · DELF · DALF · etc.) OR French-language study transcripts (3+ years) OR professional order permit.

Do you have a valid immigration status in Quebec during the July 2 – October 31, 2026 period?

Open or closed work permit, renewal in progress (receipt), etc.

What type of diploma did you obtain in Quebec?

The diploma level determines the French language requirements.

Did you finish your studies less than 3 years ago?

The 3-year period is calculated from the end of the programme (last session or defence).

Requirements vary depending on your diploma level.

Study permit still valid, PGWP, work permit or renewal receipt.
